Mardi Gras Mambo

Celebration Village Forsyth transformed into a vibrant carnival on Fat Tuesday. Caritas provided King cake for all of the residents, and each person got colored pearls, and Mardi Gras masks to wear during the celebration. Carita’s own Matthew Cox got on the mic with a fellow New Orleaian and explained what Mardi Gras is, and what it meant to them. Purple, green, and gold are the official Mardi Gras colors, and everyone wore them proudly!
